Whooooooops!

Hey Choristers-I almost forgot! The plans for this week go something like this:

Monday, Extended homeroom: 7/8 grade chorus audition for solos in "Firework"

ALL WEEK: ALL choirs starting work on "Vois Sur Ton Chemin"

Also: We will be finishing up "Bonse Aba" and continuing work on the end of "Loosin Yelav"

Friday, Extended Homeroom: All girls in all grades of chorus will work on "Hotaru Koi"

Remember, if you need a practice track to work on music at home, bring in a blank CD with your name written on it (preferably in Sharpie) and I can put your voice part on a CD for you.

Hope you had a great February break and see you this week...enjoy your day!

A New Idea...Feel Free to Comment

Hey there choristers (singers)!

I had a thought just now and figured I'd put it out there to see what you think-I'd like to use this blog more often, as a connection tool but also as a teaching tool.

What if I put the (general) lesson plan out on Sunday of each week so you can know ahead of time what we're going to be learning in the upcoming week?

What do you think? Here's a sample, for example (ha, rhymes are fun)...

Do you think students would check the blog out if they knew they could get a sneak peek at the upcoming week?

Comment please, I'd like to know your thoughts.
Enjoy your day!
